I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis ‘Accelerating Approximate Data Analysis with Parallel Processors’. The comittee consisting of Begüm Demir, Zsolt István, Volker Markl, Jens Teubner, and Eleni Tzirita Zacharatou was great.
I am still making a couple of minor edits, but I will upload the document here once it was officially published. As I was told, getting our university library to accept the PDF is as hard as the PhD itself, so I guess there is going to be another ‘Martin struggling with the delicacies of the PDF format’ kind of posts soon. Until then, enjoy this picture of my graduation hat that my colleagues and mentees must have spent way too much time building.
